Standby UK Sector

Does anyone have exp of working standby in the UK Sector. Are the rules and regs strictly adhered to re: manning and particularly the 28 day rule. Is it possible to do 28 days then go onto another ship then come back for another 28 days without a break.

A while since I left the N Sea so don't know the legalities. I once did 5 weeks on my own boat (AHTS), straight to another boat for 5 weeks, then back to my own boat for a further 5 weeks. Needed the money to fund my divorce /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but it was a real killer. Winter time too. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I was a mere sprog of course, but would only recommend it in the summer months.
