Hello. I have the above radio. Does anyone know if it is possible for the radio to output a gps signal to one chart plotter and ais information to another. I have two chart plotters. one inside and one outside. I have a raymarine plotter radar outside which does not have ais capability and i was hoping to use the gps on the radio to run this. I have a sh cp300 inside and i was hoping the ais off the radio would run this.
If all that sounds ridiculous then i apologise.

Or can I have gps/nmea/ dsc data from the gx2200 running into thw two chart plotters. and then i can get my ais data from my advansea ais that is there already but not wired up.

You can send all the data (gps + ais) to several devices at once, provided they are all operating with the same baud rate.
So you will need to check what baud rates the GX220 can send at, and what the other devices can receive and match them up.

the 2200 outputs ais and gps combined at 4800 (i think from memory) as thats how i have it working via a wifi router - i only had one input for the router so needed it all in one go.
i use that on a couple things and its very good imho - use it for ais data in inavx and gps data on a non gsm ipad too.

Its the grey & brown wires at 4800 - just checked the manual.

As far as I can see. You can set the radio to output at 4800 or 38400. The ais which is on the yellow wire always outputs at 38400. But the other two wires output at 4800. So I was hoping to send the ais output to one chart plotter and the gps output to another chart plotter

**Updated this statement below**
The manual clearly shows the technique for using the NMEA data on a single wire at 4800, whether its optimal or not isn't something I'd be proficient enough to comment on - however I do know it works as its happily pinging the data around my boat. With the concept of single output multiple listeners I can't see why you'd have any issues.

Please download the manual and check the pages which detail this very clearly. Here's one I googled for:
www.georgekniest.nl/pdf/manuals/GX2200E%20manual.pdf

I wouldn't normally be the vocal, but having done it and having it in action does rather give me a bit of credibility over the guessers.

Update on last post:
The 2200 outputs some data combined - it may however by at 38400 (correcting my previous statement) - which would (acknowledging the above posts) make more sense.
However - If I recall, its done by changing the default baud rate on the transmitter and using the wires which are detailed to carry all the data (AIS + GPS).

Grrr, if i was on the boat I could tell you which wires!

Found it:
Grey Brown as per post above (yay got that bit right!)
Note: It says "includes" - not "only" - there was a ton of stuff coming out when I attached a UDP client to my router!

You can. Use the 38400 output for AIS to one plotter.

The other output can be used to output both AIS and GPS to the other plotter at 38400 or just GPS at 4800.

Thanks for all the replies. When next on the boat i will give it a go. I suppose the worst thing that can happen is that it don't work!

As Paul says, that will be fine. On p22 of the manual, it is specific in saying that the only sentences combined and output at 38400 are AIS and DSC, so to chuck out the GPS sentences you need 4800 baud connected to a separate port
