another odd one...
On the aft deck I have the shore power socket, nice ss with a proper cover, happy with it.
On top of it I placed, last week, a Vimar white plastic 3U socket IP67 thing for 220V from the inverter, a USB socket for charging mobiles et al plus a 24V assymetrical socket.
NOW, I also want to have a 12V outlet for a few things that wont work on 24V and I need around there. First thing that comes to mind is the pump for the tender which is a nice big thing with adjustable pressure. In July I had to open the hatch and hold (for a good few mins) the two cables of the thing on one of the batteries, not funny and really don't want to do it again!
So plan is to fit a flush mounted waterproof lighter socket just under the shorepower round socket. It's an area that does get occasionally wet, on a heavy downpour.
anyone got anything to suggest apart from the osculati I found on ebay:

I'd rather not have a plastic thing (although my mooring spot means that the plug will be on the shadow and almost never get direct sunlight) there. If I'm not happy with it's IP properties, I'll probably fit a toggle switch inside by the sofa next to it and isolate it in the winter...
If nothing really works, I can always place the socket inside the locker/step to the side deck and be done with it.
Any other ideas most welcomed!
cheers
