Stainless steel fixed yacht window frames - source?

Remove the aluminum frame and replace it with stainless steel flat bar welded at the joins
I considered that Rog' but as you know the work required would be very time consuming. Apart from that my hardtop is partly supported by the windscreen frame so would mean total dismantling. Using stainless strip to cover the original frames is far easier, even with the welded and polished corners.

Surely, just covering the alloy with stainless strip will cause the alloy to crumble even faster?

Nonetheless, one can buy self-adhesive thin stainless sheet for covering, e.g. fridge doors. It would probably want careful forming of the cut edges, but should otherwise work as a visual enhancement. Maybe use sikaflex and plain sheet for greater accommodation of curves and asperities.

Frames are all good, just scruffy.
