Can anyone give me a link to a company in the UK that will supply 4no. engine mountings for a 2GM20 Yanmar.
Exisiting mounts are AV type and are badly corroded.
Mounting bolt (height adjuster) to engine is 16mm

Thanks in Advance

Those are standard Yanmar mounts - and they do corrode. Don't think you can buy stainless mounts - most are either plated or painted mild steel. You might, however consider Poly Flex www.polyflex.com.au which are sold in this country by Southern Cross Marine in Salisbury. Good reports from those that have used them, but like Yanmar mounts are expensive compared with others on the market. Note that usually Yanmar require a set of mounts that are different front to rear.

I always had the impresion that stainless is not that good structurally - tends to be more prone to metal fatigue in applications subject to constant vibration than mild steel - anyone else know better?

Have you spoken to AV?

Look at the 'Silent Marine' range, the inverted cup will keep out any water from above.

I had a 1 GM 10 fitted into my boat, and the engineer certainly never fitted Yanmar mounts. Not sure just what they are, but they do have an inverted cup. And every so often I spray the whole things with silicone or similar to keep the damp out. Hopefully I'm not doing any harm:D:D

I bought mounts from Sillette Sonic in Morden, they are Yanmar parts dealers. Advertise in PBO etc. very good price as I recall.

Engine mountings

Thanks for replies so far :-

I have been in touch with AV and have price for S/S replacments at approx £60 ea- mods required to engine cradle

I have sent enquiries to the yanmar agent in Ireland and to Sillette Sonic in the UK- no reply

I have also tried a couple of other suppliers for general engine mountings.

The expensive but standard Yanmar items don't appear to be very good quality to me- the exisiting ones are 10 years old and are soft and corroded- this is not from leaking dioesel or a particularly poor enigne bay.

Stainless Mountings

I have just ordered from Sillette and will see what the itels are like in a few days.

Thanks for everyone's help to date
