Can you tell I’m having a jobs day?

I’ve recently reinstalled my wheel pilot having taken it to uk for a service. It’s been off a long time.

Reconnected and when I select a course the wheel doesn’t move.

Have tried sending 12v to the wires marked drive in the back and the wheel turns. But when I set a course there is no voltage going to the drive connectors.

So wheel is ok but my head unit won’t send volts to the drive terminals.

In case it matters I am also getting a low battery warning from time to time but I have checked and the 12v in is steady as you like.

Any ideas for what next?

Three things come to mind.
Resistance in terminals causing a voltage drop.
Battery problems, exactly what voltage do you get when the battery has a load, a) at the battery and b) at the motor?
Problem with the control computer and/or its terminals (if your unit uses one).

I had a similar problem with a fridge and it took a while checking voltage across every terminal and connection in the circuit with the fridge trying to start before locating a corroded connection that dropped the voltage under stating load. No load voltages were good.
