ST4000 Autohelm Belt

An earlier post suggested Raymarine no longer offer replacement belts. Anyone know where to get one from?

i can still get spares for my 25 + year old imported swedish mower off the shelf

Who says so? I got a spare belt within three days of ordering it from Fox's in Ipswich last year. Much cheaper in fact than trying to source one from elsewhere as they are much longer than 'off the shelf belts'.

Raymarine serviced mine and fitted a new belt.

You may have been referring to mt post.

Its not that Raymarine are not selling them anymore, they most certainly are.

In fact, their service and delivery was examplary.


However, at 34 quid, they are, well, lets say, premium priced.


Watch this space, I am about to corner the world market in ST4000 belts, at a considerable saving to you, dear Forum User.

I beg forgiveness. I had read elsewhere in another thread that Raymarine did not sell them anymore and assumed it to be true.
But having called Raymarine they are eager to sell me one and I hope it will arrive tomorrow - or at least in time for the weekend.
