Guapa's currently SSR registered.
We've got a marine mortgage (RBOS) which is starting to weigh on the monthly budget (APR 9.6%).
I've found I can re-mortgage at a much more favourable APR 5.6% "abroad".
Only caveat I would need to register Guapa in that country. I've got most of the paperwork sorted but require proof that the boat has been de-registered in the UK.
The MCA website has plenty of info on registration and allows on-line registration - but de-registration? Nothing, nada.
I e-mailed them last week - no reply as yet.
I phoned today - after 25 minutes on hold mood music I hung up.
Anyone know how you de-register and what's involved?
Thanks
