There is no mouse on board!
The soles squeak when walked on. They are ply and resting on a fibreglass 'rim'. In PBO during 2018? there was a series of articles about superyachts and how they stop squeaks, etc and what material was suitable on a mere yacht. Does anyone have a copy and put the recommendations on here or any suggestions as to the type of tape that I should use between the sole and rim. I don't want to screw them down as they are regularly lifted to check bilges and clear the log. I have cleaned all the surfaces up but still the same problem.

Ive the same problem on a Bene 373 . Drives me daft!
Ive tried the the old trick of candle wax along the edges of the boards. It improved the situation but not great really.
Ive tried sanding the edges so the fit isnt quite so tight- hasnt really worked either.
My biggest problem is that the boards have a slight warp and tend to role on the curve as you stand on them , I Ive tried taking them out and putting weights on overnight to reverse the warp-Didnt really work!
The previous owner applied ruberised adhesive tape in strategic areas , ive tried to improve on this but it wasnt a major success.
I think that screwing down the boards might be the solution as suggested above, Ill have to take a look and see if there are some stong points to fix to. Id like to keep them quick release for inspection. Maybe there are some quick release fittings that could be used.
I was thinking about replacing the warped boards, but I'd have to replace the complete floor for astethics.
Interested in any other suggestions.

In my old Hallberg-Rassy, there was one smallish board which squeaked dreadfully. I tried everything; sanded the edges, applied candle wax, put rubber strips underneath, screwed it down on to the bearers - all to no avail. Then I had a brainwave. I took the board up, cleaned the underside and all the bearers, then squirted a bead of silicone sealant on all the bearers, popped the board back and replaced the screws. Magic! No more squeaks.

Then, one day, I needed to lift the board........ it wouldn't budge. So I don't recommend fixing it this way.

Only thing that fixed mine was gluing and screwing a piece of strip wood to the back of the board, which made the board a lot stiffer. No movement, no squeak.
