Square rig surprise

This was best demonstrated on a replica Viking vessel, where the crew discovered that by swinging the yard right round and dipping it, it became virtually a lug sail, with surprisingly good windward performance.
I've done the opposite- running downwind on a dipping lug with the tack taken aft to a point not far ahead of the mast. It's a pretty versatile rig.

And the original poster has not been seen since 2012
But the data requested is surely freely available and someone,.not necessarily the OP, will be able to oblige

I'd have a search but I'm in foreign parts with restricted and monitored internet access.

For the poster who wanted the polars: the James Craig is fairly active, she does Sydney to Tasmania, and the polars for her might also be available. HK Outward Bound had, has?, a brigantine that was active, I sailed on her,, (upto 20 years ago - :( ).
