My perspex flybridge drinks holders were at end of life ( like most peoples I suspect).

I have having copies made in 4mm polished stainless steel for £210 including the cost of creating the file to copy them from the perspex and delivery.

I have placed an order but not yet paid and I wondered if anyone else wanted some made up?

I suspect that the price would fall slightly as the artwork would be lost in a bigger batch.

Is the company and I found them on eBay as they made up a few stainless steel plates for me, there will no doubt be many similar firms.

I think Jeremy means the flat triangular or whatever acrylic pieces with cutouts for drinks. I had a full complement of them but one was cracked and is now lying at the bottom of the sea somewhere. My contacts at Fairline tell me there's a pile of them in the corner of the store room so I'm hoping to acquire an original soon. The green glass is a feature of my boat and the green drinks holders are part of the boat's styling so I'm keen to stay OEM.

But in jrudges case I think replacing the brown plastic ones with stainless is a good solution.

All mine are missing on my T43 I've emailed Fairline but no joy Sourcing them yet so let me know if you have any luck please

Ian, did you email Fairline or Bates? I'd try the latter in the first instance if I were you. However, the next time I speak to the factory I'll see how good their supply is. What colour is your glass?

If all else fails, I know a company that will laser or CNC cut perspex at reasonable prices if someone could make some templates for you.

Thanks for the reply.

My glass is green. I think it's 6 of them that are missing.

I emailed both bates and fairline in Southampton. Bates did reply asking for the HIN but nothing since.

Ian, I spoke to Fairline today. They don't deal directly with owners and should have referred you to Bates. You should have received an email to that effect and they apologize if you didn't receive one. I can't speak for Bates but Fairline did say that their glass holder supplier is not the most reliable, particularly with regard to the green glass. So it's a bit hit and miss if Fairline have some in stock.

Rather surprisingly, Fairline don't own the IPR / artwork for the glass holders as this is held by the original manufacturer (they aren't making the same mistake again).

The good news is that Fairline are looking for a new supplier (I've recommend one) but what would really help is some templates of the T43 glass holders to create artwork from. So if anyone has a T43 and has a spare 15 minutes to trace their glass holders onto a piece of paper it would be very helpful. You can send it to me and I'll get some prototypes made.

Evening

Thanks very much ..I've still had no reply from either of them

I will keep a eye out for T43's and next one income across I will ask if I can take some templates to pass on
