Sprayhood manufacture east coast?

Hi Folks,
Can anyone recommend someone to make me up a new sprayhood, I need the steel frame as well as the covering. The one fitted to my boat is too small (previous owner was around 4.5 foot and I'm 6.2!) For me to comfortably get in and out of the companionway.

I've had a quote of over £1000 + VAT which seems way OTT.

And yep I'm east coast (Orwell)

SB Upholsterers in Tollesbury can make frames as well as covers IIRC.

Mark of Advantage Sails (07909 542138) has just made me a new frame and sprayhood for a 31' boat and fitted it all for a lot less than that. Recommended by a fellow club member. He's in Brightlinsea but travels up to Ipswich area regularly.

I use Gowens west mersea very good imho of course just a happy customer

Gowen replaced the canvas to my frame- it was very expensive but good quality i has "Stratoglass" fitted for the windows

I have had quotes from Gowan and SB in Tollesbury for a 32' boat recently. Both around £900 with frame.
