Spray adhesive

For upholstery use; Trimfix. I’ve used a blue spray adhesive from Toolstation, but it is messy and only good for no absorbent materials I feel, as it can stain.

If it's an evostick style impact adhesive, make sure it's labeled "High Temperature" as the sun can easily unstick the normal versions..

I saw an interesting vid on youtube about spray adhesives for lining material. It demonstrated how important it is to wait until it's gone tacky and not just spray it on and instantly offer it up. It made a big difference to how well it stuck.

Not forgetting that usually both surfaces have to be sprayed. To that end, it's best to spray the more non absorbent surface first. The absorbent surface(lining) will usually dry out much quicker.
