Oooeer. Many many congratulations. That's something of a modern classic. I remember particularly liking these when they were advertised a bit in MBY - probably the mark 1s I think. I doubt there are many of them in UK. There used to be a nice one in Lymington when I was there and I guess SD5 might be it. Anyway, what a very special boat and I hope you have lots of fun with her. Keep us informed and be-pictured ref the delivery trip and any jobs you do on her

Wow, that's fantastic! A connoisseur's boat if ever there was one.

And I like the blue galley, it's very period.

Hope you have a lot of fun with her.

They only made 40 off them, this one was for sale at Berthon around 2 years ago.

Looks a great boat well done, I am sure you will have a lot of fun getting to know her, but can't help thinking it would look a lot better with a load of spotty fenders on it........ All the best.

Happy to buy you a burger anytime, should be alright in getting her across, its the bit in the North sea, that might be interesting at this time of year.

Very kind offer Tim, most appreciated .
I have already got my crew organised, we hope to set off Tuesday morning out to Lowestoft and in to Harwich for the first night, then depending of weather, across the estuary and round, would like to make Brigton, but plenty of safe havens before that if we need them. I'm only doing daylight passages, she is cat A rated cruise at 21ktns, tops at 27ktns.
I have taken all of next week off, so absolutely no rush. If we can't find a weather window, I may well be knocking on your door ! Still buy you a burger either way.....
