Its is shaft driven ....clue there .

Yup, their hulls are by far the ones with most rails that you can find - see below.To this day the hull of a DC is near identical to the original sixties Hunt design.
I only saw one of their earliest 16m in flesh, and TBH I was unimpressed, for several reasons.
The yard does have a reputation for building some good seagoing hulls, though.
Construction strength, and superb sea kindly ride are strong attributes in a DC.
The rest like finishing, detailing and the Quality perception are not strong points in a DC. Let say some of these are average and very utilitarian.
Another thing to check with DC when buying used, especially with the top selling DC 10, 11, and 12 models is to check they have adequate horse power for that 24 degrees Hunt deep Vee with more spray rails.
As Dellapasqua would give a buyer the price he wanted at the cost of horsepower.
