Spot the boat is no more!

Sorry jfm, I'm not going to let this go because I don't think you have a right to be so downright dismissive. After all, only a couple of hours ago you were lecturing us over the necessity to keep the forum on friendly and inoffensive terms

At the risk of boring the rest of the forum sh**less, this was my post #78 in reply to Sybarite's post #76. What exactly have I misread or misunderstood?

Sybarite said this He has every right to try to impose his views

I said this No he doesn't. He has every right to express his views but no right to impose his views

What exactly have I misread or misunderstood?
You have missed Sybarite's words "try to"

Ok, let's all calm down and spot the boat then... No human flesh version!

Next season is only 16 weeks away.
LOL, that's possibly the best explanation behind some pretty peculiar forum debates, of which this is a prime example.
Forget exploitation, deep feelings, principles, and so forth.
What really explains it all is the lack of boating syndrome, aka LOBS! :D :p :D
Pretty serious stuff, harder to cure than Ebola, after it strikes...
...in fact, prevention through regular doses is the only thing known to work well.
That's why I'll spend a couple of weeks onboard around the new years' eve.
Beware, with a bit of support from the weather Gods I might as well post yet another snorkeling video...

Incidentally, I was going to ask to Sybarite after I read his post what the heck "try to impose" means, because in my understanding that sounded like a proper oxymoron.
But I didn't, 'cause I thought that this thread was already weird enough without a semantic o/t.
In hindsight, reading the querelle that this point created, maybe I should have...
Or maybe not. LOBS debates are fun to read, after all! :D

Chill guys - it's just cabin fever. Nobody died! :) Next season is only 16 weeks away. :)

shock horror, didn't realize it's that close, off to the boatyard tomorrow!

a fletcher, what do I win?

:p

and trying to further sidetrack some of you lot, just saw (again) C'était un rendez-vous
How about having some spot the whatever video, or spot the area with or without dressed or semi-nakid ppl in there?

cheers

V.

PS. If that's happening here I dare not think what's going on in the lounge

It's not a Fletcher, so no virtual pint :p

We do see 'where is it' threads from time to time, but you have to be well travelled or live on the doorstep of the location to get them and thus they're usually too easy or too hard with little in between. :(

damn, a bayliner?

I'm proposing video and not stills (just check the one I mentioned on vimeo...) and for no apparent reason other than sidetracking the discussion before the handbags are out :D

Closer, but no... You're guessing now :) Oh, and plus one on the second :D

Can I have a hi-res version please? I left my magnifying glass at work... :p

er, and what makes you think I wasn't guessing the first time???

haven't got a clue!

Haha! I was giving you the benefit of doubt ;) You're all supposed to use encyclopaedic knowledge to determine the answer. :D

One thing's certain, there won't be any benefit in anyone resorting to GIS as I took the picture and it's not published anywhere!
