Do you want to know the best bit? I just got a rally stroppy email from their 'accounts' department wanting to know why the invoice they emailed me yesterday has remained unpaid.

I think they are either very naive and rubbish at business or just on the rob. I think the latter. I suppose I should email B&O about the advert in case there are others less suspicious than me.
 
On their 'Buy Now' page they have "Barclays Secure Purchease" and a lot of credit card logos but you can't buy by credit card and the page isn't secure! I’m sure the card companies would be interested to know their logos are being misused.

They may or may not be genuine but their trading ethics look decidedly dodgy.

snap, however I've not actually got all my money back! Any info on this Financial Ombudsman route would be appreciated if you don't mind. I think I'm getting close to the three month mark now.
 
Where abouts in Greece?

Can't see any bargains to have here. Prices are always too high and it costs a fortune to send anything to anywhere else from here so I don't see how they can offer any bargains.....

If they are for real and cheap then I'd be interested to hear it.
 
Next time they contact you ask them how come they have an active accounts department chasing invoices yet they have declared to Companies House that (a) they have no business activity of their own and (b) they are not acting as agent of anyone else

I think an article in one of the boat mags about this would be good, its the power of a forum, was not a question of us not liking, it was a case of a concern raised, others looking into it nothing good on the defence found guilty and judgement, we await the appeal
 
Technically yes BJ, however as the second one was a "replacement" of nil value then no. It's hit and miss, sometimes you get wacked others not. The courier usually likes to add an admin charge too for someone putting their tea mug down and putting it on a lorry then having to make a fresh brew again. We call it rip-off Britain.

There are ways to limit this of course, but not the the forums is my guess /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
