I need one soon & for £100 very tempted I have to say. The only one in my size (2) is the 275N, which is overkill for the sailing I'll be doing but does anyone know if the 275 is significantly heavier/bulkier than the 170 please?

I bought one and it came with a strap missing, the customer service was excellent and a replacement arrived the next morning and a courier collected the old one.
A total bargain IMO

The 275 is noticeably heavier and bulkier than a common-or-garden 150. I've not tried a Deckvest 170

It's only slightly bulkier and heavier (mainly due to the bigger CO₂ cylinder) than the 170N when worn. However, the real difference is that it is massive when inflated and will restrict you more. You can find inflated pix on the Spinlock website and some videos on YouTube if you want to see for yourself.

I bought the 275 as I sometimes wear a drysuit and it is recommended in case you end up with a pocket of air in the feet, it isn't very bulky and I've worn it for long days without discomfort.
