Convince her cold swimming is the new spa , and push her in the drink.

I don’t know if it’s still open but if you head to Northney marina at Hayling island just across bridge I seem to recollect the hotel there had a swimming pool and spa . When we used to anti foul the boat during the day we would spend the night there. Clearly not chewton glen prices or quality of food etc though. Otherwise I wonder if new hotel at ocean village has spa facilities? Otherwise recall at whitely the Solent hotel had a rather good pool if working away from home would stay there mid week often.

Limewood Hotel & Spa just outside Lyndhurst. First class facilities but not a cheap option but you get what you pay for. Great hotel and restaurant and definitely worth a try.

if your Mrs is aware of Chewton. Glen too, then you’ll not get away with anything less :)

Mrs P was there last weekend and said its absolutely perfect. Treat her to the best i’d say, as it’s a special occasion too.

Yup 2 or three coming up as expected. C Glen, Rhinefield etc, there is Carey’s Manor as well. Never been to any of them

My better half loves Spa's and has been to all of these (we live in the forest), but first place goes to Chewton Glen so that's where I'd head. Not cheap but cheaper than a divorce :) (y)

New forest Carey’s Manor hotel, spa and guest rooms are average. But the thai restaurant was good.

Head further East to Chichester marina, taxi to goodwood hotel and spa, the ‘farmer butcher chef’ restaurant food is incredible, amazing food and service. Good spa and rooms if you book the better rooms
