Spec me a new plotter with AIS B transponder

I know its not UK waters ... but Stockholm Archipelago is littered with rocks and shoals .... I only have the K-Charts on my ONWA .. and its fine.

I do have Navionics on my Garmin 92sv and my Tablet ... but so far have not found one highlighting 'dangers' over the other ...

It is true that K-Charts are rarely updated ... but if you have Boating App on tablet (Navionics) .... then is it really necessary to have paid charts on the ONWA ?
 
I don't have any Nav app on my phone and don't have (or want) a tablet.

So my choice (assuming I feel like paying for a 3rd party electronic chart) is Navionics or C-Map MAX.

I don't know what's going on with C-Map. The MAX is compatible with the Onwa, but the newer Reveal and Discover charts aren't... not that I'm in the slightest part interested in bathymetric super-detail of the seabed - just want to know where the rocks and wrecks are and what depth of water I'm in roughly.

Well go get the Navionics card then ??

Personally if I was back in Solent - spent most of my life sailing there ... I would be using K Charts on the ONWA ...

I used the Lowrance Charts on my old Lowrance plotter and never had a problem .. in fact if outside of the river here in Baltic - I still use the charts and they are yonks old !! (I have 5 boats ...)
