Speaking of bowthrusters, here's one I made earlier...

Actually it's nothing to do with me, but I spotted this in the yard earlier. Never seen anything like it - a double-take 'wtf' moment indeed. And about as far from 'stealthy' as you'll get!

Looks fine to me. It will be out of the water when he is planing. Jolly useful against anti-submarine nets or pot-markers too.

I'd love to see film of the rope/weed/obstruction eating. What an abortion! Still, on a motor boat like that nothing surprises...

Swimmers??? Oh dear me - get real! What would swimmers be doing under the bow of a boat under way? That's about as realistic as calling a car's radiator fan a danger to pedestrians.

Well, in the marina I use people enter the water from time to time for maintenance purposes.

It might be interesting to ask the owner if the bow thruster circuit is completely de-activated while the boat is laid up.

Without going into the pros and cons of identifying the fact that you have a bow thruster, and it's position - you can get these stickers from side power - they were free.

Cheers,

Michael.

I thought that was a stick on black circle, a bit like the bullet hole stickers you can get for your car!
