Basically im in the eastern med and looking for a supplier this direction ?

I know the spade anchor is made in Tunisia, and there is a outlet on Jersey, but
Has anyone ever bought direct from Tunisia, or from an outlet from there,

Colin

I would ask them for a delivery price. One of the Rocna suppliers I contacted a few years ago was in Holland. They would deliver to Greece for £30 at the time. Far more recently, I am having a new dinghy, weight without packaging 18kg, from UK to Greece for £50 with UPS. DMS will deliver a new battery to Greece for £43.

Hi Colin,

I have just had a new Spade S120 anchor delivered from 'Sea Tech & Fun Europe' the main French Agent, to my yacht on Leros Greece. Weight 25KG + packaging. Cost €130 in VAT.

Regards,

Steve.

P.S. Would you like my old Spade A140 (Aluminium) at a bargain price?

PM me if interested.

Hi Steve,

Its a 140 or maybe the 160 that I need but needs to be steel im afraid as its for the main anchor,
I Found the French sea tech site a few moments ago, but couldn't find prices,,,that delivery charge to you wasn't too bad,,,and that was dierect to Leros ?
As ive heard many a pickle where its cheap to have it sent to the mainland then very expensive to get it that last little bit to where ever you are.

My battery and dinghy are going to Leros for the prices quoted. I have been internet enquiring about another parcel to Leros, 1 metre x 50 cm by 50 cm weighing 50 kg. TNT will do it for £75.

Hi vyv, Ive looked at shipping a few times before and the prices are very good considering how far its going and the weight etc.
Thankyou for the info, I will contact the suppliers of the anchor and see what they say,,,Im wondering if there is a chandlery in Tunisia where they are made
that stocks them,,,,nothing on the internet so far regarding that,,

Hi Colin,

I don't think you can buy direct from Tunisia. As it is a French company, all sales are handled in France by Sea Tech. Prices are on their Website. I have not had a problem shipping to the Greek Islands.Shipping from Tunisia (outside the EU) almost certainly would be problematical, although I note you are in Marmaris, so you may have problems in any case importing into Turkey.

Regards,

Steve.
