Souwester Fluxgate Compass

I have purchased what I take to be a Souwester Fluxgate Compass in a box of oddments. There are of course no instructions. Any advice on installation and wiring would be very welcome.

What makes you think it's Sowester? I don't claim any universal knowledge but I don't think they had an own brand of instruments, (I may be wrong), but they did distribute Nasa and certainly had a skip load of all kinds of non functioning electronics at the time of their demise.

If it's Nasa the compass is a big black dome about 10" across and 7 or 8" high, (I'm guessing from memory).
