I want to replace my sanitation pipe but don't want to buy too much so a birth near a chandlers with power so I have hot water . I can then take one bit out and replace and the boss wants to go to IKEA to get curtains. Where should I go?

Deacons or the other yard close by. several chandlers like force 4 on site. then catch the train right next to yard 3 stops to southampton central £4.50 return each person.

Agree with Shamrock Quay where there’s a Force4, staff there have always been very friendly & helpful.

You could berth at Ocean Village which is more central. A 25 min walk to Ikea in one direction, Shamrock similar in the opposite direction.

A lot more going on in Ocean Village too in terms of bars/restaurants/cinema/shop etc if that’s your thing

Boat in ocean village and book into hotel for cocktails/ drinks on terrace with lovely views over harbour. Also can visit John Lewis next to ikea. As said deacons have force 4 plus Youboat at Swanwick . Just check in advance they have right butyl hose in stock I guess. Plenty of eateries in Oxford road for all wallets. Eatery at Swanwick limited in fare but fine for a drink .

For a berth near a chandlers in Soutamton I would recommend Deacons at the top of the Hamble. Not only do you have two chandlers just a minute or two away, you might also take a short taxi ride to ASAP Supplies after checking prices.

Unless replace sanitation pipe is a euphemism-I wouldn’t recommend Ocean Village!

Come to shamrock plenty of empty berths this season and the bus stop for IKEA is 10 min walk.
