Sourcing stainless tubes (316) on Mediterranean

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice on where to purchase 316 stainless steel tubing in France, or alternatively in Italy or Greece. Specifically, I need tubing with a diameter of 30 mm.

Currently, I'm being quoted 30 euros per meter in France, whereas in Spain, I can get it for just 10 euros per meter (Tubacero, Cartagena). The price difference is quite significant (I need roughly 24 meters), so I'm hoping to find a more cost-effective source.

Any recommendations or tips on where I might find better prices in these regions would be greatly appreciated!

316 tubing is used a lot in dairy and food processing industries, it might be worth searching for suppliers of 'hygienic' tube.

Does it have to be 30mm? 32mm or 1 1/4" OD is more common?

It's for an arch+davits, and you get a decent selection of fittings for the 30 mm.

Thanks @Bouba - but right now they have max of 12 mm "de diamètre extérieur" where I'd neet a 30 mm. Nonetheless, I'll check Amazon as an option.

In Bordeaux, which is not so far to collect if a decent order. They do deliver of course. Friendly outfit.

Yup, I've seen this. But the price is a highway robbery. It's 30+ EUR per meter, while the standard price should be about 10 euros.
