sorry, pictures again!

Hello,

I must be doing something reallly daft,

I'm trying to get this <A target="_blank" HREF=http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/leighsutherland67/detail?.dir=5064&.dnm=8677.jpg> picture </A> as my user picture

but it doesn't work. Is it because its a link to the whole Yahoo webpage and not just the jpeg?

I can't find a way with Yahoo photos to show just the jpeg so i right clicked on th piccy to get properties and used that url

However, that is of the form:

http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/414ec762zd9735b4/5064/__sr_/8677.jpg?phBvwTBBwsclCHAV

And the last bit after the .jpg means that it isn't accepted when I try to paste it into my user prefs as it's not recognised as a jpeg pressumably. Also this last bit changes every time I do it.

Any suggestions?

Also, I can get the links to work as text as above, but when I try:

If you paste that into your profile it should show as;

I't took me ages to learn how to do that,guided with much helpful advice from forum members.
See my posts in the web section.
If it doesn't work I am at the outer edges of my expertise and you will have to wait for a proper techie/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Thanks, but the duck gets stretched fat!

I tried to add my own resized new version but the add photos button wouldn't work.

Could I be really cheeky and ask you to put <A target="_blank" HREF=http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/leighsutherland67/detail?.dir=/5064&.dnm=54de.jpg> this one </A> on there too or tell me how you put the other one on....

If I could explain how to do it I'd come out of retirement and earn a fortune in IT.

Basically I hit keys at random until I get the right result/forums/images/icons/smile.gif
