If any of you make the trip to the East coast and have some transport then a lovely place to visit is the Historic wool town of Lavenham. Lovely places to eat and browse around

Mud was never a problem where I was on the east coast, but a tide table was mandatory!

Tide tables are all on plotters now..... Its an Electronic world !!

Being in the Med, I’ve forgotten about tides. Do plotters these days change depths real time and predict depths say 1 hour ahead so you can change your route?

You depth finder show actual depths. The plotters are downloaded charts so not real time
