To hear that John Watson has left MDL. I for one will miss his posts. He was always ready to stand his corner and I salute him for that.

It's a great shame, but I'm sure he'll pop in here, and he promises that he has put some great managers in place.
If you pop over to the Mobo forum, there is already an MDL meet being organised on the Thames by one of those managers (who turned up at Byrons bash). His spirit is living on at least in this regard

You are all more than welcome to join the Thames bash on 6 September. We have had about 8 boats reply and are expecting more. You do not have to come by boat of course. I am trying to arrange a skittles evening near Windsor Marina.
