Two pics of my old banger, what do you think it is? Dates from 1968/9.

OK! I received the email with the pictures.
Your boat is a Kingswift built by William Osborne Ltd. (they also built Lifeboats for the RNLI)

Her tech data is as follows.
Length 26' Draft 2' Max. Beam 9'10"
Original engines would be 2 x Perkins 4.108 and her speeds would have been 15-17 knots with Enfield Outdrives.
Her displacement weight would be 4500-6500 lbs.

I don't know if the company still exists but they were at Littlehampton, tel: 01903 713996.

I remember the Kingswift very well, they were a beautifully built boat as are all Osbournes. They never sold in large numbers. You have a bit of history there so look after it.

More history than you know, she is no1 Kingswift, fitted originally with AQ105's with 100 drives. I have managed to retain them up to now, top speed 20Knts. I have the sales brochure, she is the boat on that and she went to Southhampton and Earls Court boat shows. No osmosis, some rot, lots of work to keep up with let alone improve. She is used regularly, a run to Ipswitch via Queenborough this season, no problems except weather. William Osborne ceased trading 2000 but site still occupied by relative of designer, who went out on Humming Bird when she was having sea trials, and provided history for me.

Here are the photos of Alrus's boat. I had to crop and resize them as they were rather large taking in scenery etc.
