Thanks for posting these. I was crew on the Stella (Estrella) all week and we were happy with our performance. The round the island race was very tuff, we were more than a little surprised with the comment at the prize giving: ‘it was a small boat race’ - how a 26 foot boat is more suited to 35knts of breeze than say a forty five foot s&s is beyond me however with more than our fair share of trophies for the week we must not complain! Very good for the Stella to do so well in her 50th year!

Note for Stella 08

I read that the Stella with the Blue hull in one of the photos has been restored.
If you happen to know anybody looking for a Stella project then please let me know.
I know of one of the early ones that is sitting on her legs in a Devon creek. The owner has basically told me that he would give her away to anyone prepared to restore her.
I am no expert but I think she is still well worth saving.
