Some nice boats for sale in Galicia

Be that as it may be, but his serial ruminations on boats he might buy keep both him and us engaged and happy, not to mention his current sofa warm.

If you don't have a dream
if you don't have a dream
How you gonna have a dream come true?
By buying a boat.

Dreams will get you through times of no boats, better than boats will get you through times of no dreams.
Interesting about dreams...at one time it was difficult to put a picture to your dreams...researching books to find exactly what you lust after (women, cars, boats etc)...in fact, it was usually the reverse process, you see an image in a magazine and then you lusted after it...it’s why magazines were so important in all our lives.
Now you can find exactly what you were thinking about instantly on the internet....and it was also difficult to find people to share your dream with....now we can share them with everyone...and not have to look at their faces when we do.
When I was a young man in Sydney....a very nice kid of my age...shared his dream...to have a boat in the Mediterranean....when he saw the look of astonishment on my face...he said think about it, look how many countries you (meaning me) have lived in already....so anything is possible. I hope he found his dream and is happily navigating the Med...and that I didn’t just steal his dream

I thought the masochism started after you bought it trying to fix stuff.
I would advise Wansy to get a boat on a trailer....so it can sit in his garden and he can work on it everyday...and then tow it to the lake whenever he wants. He will get a lot more utility out of the boat...because it will be an everyday hobby...whereas if it’s at the marina, it will only get occasional use...but the stress will be everyday as he worries about its state of repair

We live at 480 meters and a car suitable to tow more than a Micropluss minus its engines we don’t have. The boat has to be afloat so I can step aboard and make a cup of tea.An 8 meter boat would suit our budget and physical abilities.Boats are always turning up so once my cataract op is over we could continue the quest. But that very nice Van de stat could be a good buy,it’s pass the mighty Biscay and Galicia has three airports only 2 hours from Gatwick🙂

When are you going to realize....we know what’s best for you....better than you do

Don’t forget it’s not just you and the teapot though , there’s got to be sprawling space for wives, dogs, cats and strays
Perhaps this is what lies at the heart of Van De Stadts successes, a pedigree boat!
You forgot sprogs and great sprogs. Also Wansworth wants a boat to just drift along a Ria, but this Seacracker 33 would give him the potential to coast hop to another port and stay overnight in reasonable comfort. That might blow his mind or spill his tea.

I refuse to be drawn on the subject of the Van de Stat……..but it’s interesting how a proper boat stands out amongst all those “French” boats that seem to swamp the Spanish secondhand market in my sector

I think Wansey refuses to be drawn. On Anything😄

But that boat itch certainly gets a regular scratching and attention!
Ah well.
Tick, tock, tick, tock …😎
