My sec mod didn’t have a tie and I was never in the services ,IthinkI used baler twine until I discover these Chinese trousers which seem to defy gravity.

No I wore braces as the trousers were exceptional heavy……..the memory of a retired Brigadier working on his Nine ton Hillyard with his cavalry twill trousers held up with the regimental tie remains
