Here's my rather sexy and very fast 505! These were taken in the first race I've entered this year. Had her since january and so far things are going nicely. Just want a new rudder for it.

You need more kicker and pull the main in tighter as the mainsail leech is far too open
Raced one for 5 years. Best high performance dinghy out there by a long way!
And if you're the helm try sitting slightly further forward in those marginal conditions to stop the stern dragging.

Coo - just had to check it wasn't one of our (club members) old ones - the hull looked familiar!! But it wasn't .... same era though ..

Excellent boats - although they have a tendancy to stick in lighter winds ... get them out in a blow and they just fly!

Thankyou for the tips. Im still very new to it so I'm still playing with rig tune. I need to sort the kicker out as the cascade system is a bit too long.
