solty sorts

helo al new here, iv got a yanmar and would like to put a heat exchanger in line as at the moment its solt water coold, now that bit i can do but the bit thats got me stuck is the solt thats in the engine, how can i remove that from the linings of the engine as that would have baked it self like solt water in a frying pan!
is there some one in the trade that can advise me on this, thanks
