Solent Sailing

Left Brightlingsea over 3 weeks ago and having done a bit of Holland and France I am in Solent this week. Must say I am looking forward to these fresh NE'ly to blow through so I can get back to the muddy east!

Hardly a wave from passing boats at all and I got the most odd looks when I sailed up the Medina to the Folly Inn. And the beer - over £3 a pint!

No think I shall bail out this week and start heading back. My idea to get to the Channel Islands before Portland just wont fit in as Alderney is no place to be if wind stays in NE.
I need to be at RHYC on Sat 26 - hate sailing to deadlines, and then get boat back to B'sea on the Sunday, back to work on Monday
Derek & Terry are going on and currently intend following the rally to Falmouth so the East Coast Branch will be the ONLY Branch to sail the whole rally.

Well you can have the North Easterlies that we've got cos we're fed up with them It is either no wind or 20 knots NE - this could be sailing heaven.
