Another GH owner. When I bought it a couple of years ago it had a large panel mounted on top of substantial davits (and an Aerogen) as in the photo. I removed the whole lot as the boat is now kept in a marina with shorepower and I only cruise locally.
I agree about the restrictions in the Med of having all that clutter hanging off the stern - but then I would not consider a GH a very good boat for that type of use. Much prefer the Bavaria 37 that I had out there for 10 years!
