Solar Panels/battery banks/inverter

Well I blew the last one up by not following their instructions. If I blow up this one by not using the load terminals I'll go out and buy a Victron and heave this piece of fake badged Chinese junk in the bin.

Thanks Paul

China Product Cloning And The Death Of ‘First To Market’
Considering that you clearly have no understanding of the equipment, no apparent desire to, and don't appear to have understood the manual, perhaps hold off on the China bashing. They are fulfilling a demand for extremely cheap goods, if you have a problem with that then I suggest you stop buying those cheap goods and instead support someone like Victron or get a qualified person to install something for you.

I don't normally respond to patronising comments made by Know-All but I point out there is no User Manual for the fake MPPT Controller. As for your other insulting comments I hope they made you feel good as I have no intention of responding to to them (I have better things to do) Have a good day!:)

While you go about dobbing me in to the Administrators you might have a go at daxueconsulting.com.?

Behind the industry of counterfeit products in China and lawsuit success cases
Forgeries of luxury-brand products are more prevalent in China than in any other country in the world. When on the metro or walking down the street, it can seem as if nearly everyone is sporting a flashy brand name product. But much deadlier than casual counterfeits are the “real fakes”– counterfeit goods so similar to the real thing that differences are nearly imperceptible. The impact of counterfeit products in China can be seen in the loss of sales, damage to brand integrity, trademark dilution, and the high costs of enforcing intellectual property rights. For the world’s luxury brands, counterfeit goods from China represent a major threat.

Behind the counterfeit goods industry in modern China | Daxue Consulting

Just in case you can't read (You can can't you?)

I didn’t say counterfeit goods aren’t made in China sometimes, I said your racist attitude towards the Chinese is appalling. China manufacture a lot of things including many of our branded goods. You’ve spent the whole thread blaming everyone but yourself and ranting about the Chinese because you decided to buy obviously inferior cheap goods you didn’t understand from an unreliable source.
I guarantee that Paul could have installed that same item with no bother whatsoever. Of course he understands the value of support so wouldn’t have bought it or recommended it in the first place.

I'd expect threads like that in the depths of winter, but August? relax!

Yeah!
I read some of the comments on these threads and I start to wonder who does their shoe laces up for them each morning.

A few years ago this forum had experts in many fields who were more than willing to share their expertise. But sadly they seem to have left and now we have people who are hell bent on one-up-man ship and putting other people down.

? ?

I wasn’t being patronising I was highlighting your appalling racism which is unwelcome on these forums. Next time I’ll just report your posts and let the mods delete your posts.

Ok Lusty I can see your point now and I'll address my racist attitude.

I love people of all races, I love ALL people (especially people who don't rip me off like crooked Chinese sellers)?
Are you still going to dob me in?

(Just thinking if you dob me in maybe you'd be doing me a favor?)?

They're still here and still sharing. Perhaps you just don't see their posts for some reason, and they don't see yours

I have one of those controllers, the user manual is available online. Mine doesn't have anything connected to the load side, the manual explains this is ok. The only thing I would say in my ignorance is although the float voltage is set to 13.7v the thing reads 14.4v when it isn't charging which seems odd.

Thanks for that. :D

I'll have another look although I don't know what to google. "User manual fake MPPT Controller" or "User Manual PWM Controller"?

I found the video on how to use the "Fake MPPT Controller" quite helpful. (The video also explains how to overide certain defaults)

This looks a bit like mine except it has more buttons . I'll see if I can find a manual for that

I think I've found a User Manual that will do. Thanks. :D

Careful who you get your advice from...........

Says the man who bought a PWM controller for pence, thinking it was MPPT, then destroyed it. Then fitted another one and flattened his batteries because he didn't know how the load function worked and is still here, dozens of posts later, struggling to grasp how it works.

You promised the forum that you were leaving and would never return, yet here you are, back again. You have been back five minutes and started your usual arguing and insults. Why don't you behave yourself, or go away again and stay away ?
