I suspect it won't go far, or very quickly, unless it has huge amounts of sun available. So maybe not a UK type boat, or one that is used daily even in a sunny climate

Good to see though that development is in progress. The technology isn't ready yet, but unless they start somewhere it never will be. I suspect that in 20 - 30 years time we will all be boating in hybrids or H-fuelled boats of some kind or another. Unless we are all converted into raggies of course. (Where's that tongue-in-cheek emoticon?)
