Only had the plotter for 3 seasons, read the manual (well bits) over the weekend and found a SOG page.

This was from leaving Marconi with the tide - back to Colne in 1.5 hours!! :D

I've always said that it is SOG that gets you home. I don't care if I'm doing 10knots through the water, I just want to know when I'll be over the sandbar or into the marina in time.

7.1 knots - brings on a grin eh :)

That's not fair. My old B&W plotter doesn't display that. I had to spend a fortune on a graphic display unit to do the same. It's just that being a pensioner I'm too poor to buy a new plotter.

Wow

Looks like the same plotter as ours (180?), where on earth did you find that screen? Had ours for three seasons, never seen anything like that! Well done mate, I winder what else is lurking in that little box?

I have the CP180 and cant find a way to get it to tell me ETA whilst following a route. As Roger says, Id quite like to make it back before the pub shuts. Ideas anyone ?

If all else fails RTFM :D

From the manual

That's intriguing, it seems to suggest that the "SOG TREND" page relies on NMEA input from a log. So is it SOG?
