Soft epoxy

Steve,

Just realise you are not alone - it happens to all of us.

Possibly in the search for economy labels seem to have become smaller and smaller - sometimes it does seem there is actually no intention that the owner of, whatever, is meant to read the label, whether at the heat of the moment or even at leisure.

I'm also fascinated that though many 2 pack adhesives do much the same task - the mixing ratios can vary from 1:1 to 5:1

I would agree a set of electronic scales, in fact 2 sets, are invaluable. It is very difficult to measure up very small quantities and scales useful for small batches a usless if you are working with litres of mix. For large items - a suitcase scale is dual purpose (not that we in Australia need suitcases any more as our borders are closed).

In my opinion, when you are doing small repairs using epoxy, it makes a lot more sense to use a good 1:1 epoxy. It is so much easier to get the ratio correct. The West system at 5:1 is a joke. There are better epoxies about that are far easier to use. If you want a tiny amount of epoxy to repair something, 5:1 is impossible to get right

any reccomendations on epoxies that are 1:1?
