So who is keeping

Definitely! Rumour has it that this good weather MIGHT last for a while. I also need to play with our new toy, an Avon Searider 4m. Given the water is at its warmest now we might even try and get done October water skiing in!

Me too , no point missing the lovely crisp clear winter days, a trip over to Cowes or up to yarmouth for a night is a welcome trip to blow away the frustration of being marina bound.

Me! Apart from 2-3 weeks OOW in late January for some significant mods, my boat will be in the water the whole time and used most weekends

significant mods you say!!! Does this mean we will have an "in rebuild" thread to get through the long winter?

I normally stay in until early Jan and then take out for 6 weeks. However, this year i'll be coming out mid-Nov as i'm buggering off to Asia for the winter. This will be the first Christmas in a long time that I won't be on the boat doing day trips. Instead i'll be diving off a live-aboard. At least i'll be on a boat :)

Yep. Out on Sealift the other day for a scrub and anode check. Back in within the hour. Electric blanket back on the bed and Eber run up and checked. All ready for winter - bring it on...:)

There is a school of thought that says taking the boat out for 2 or 3 months can let the hull dry out fully. It is also a good time to get lots of jobs done over the winter on an older boat.

Ours will be in as normal.

Out for a week recently for some slap & t***** (alright anodes) prop polish and back in.
