So Sirenia....by sea or land?

Snow joke is it, woke up to about six inches (yes, of snow) pics later. Now mostly reduced to slush but some patches still a few inches deep, but at least I'm working in the barn even though it's chuffin freezin, and not outside in that.

glad to see that your getting some practical experience of freeing boats that are stuck under bridges

you never know when that skill may come in usefull

BTW its 9.78 land miles to fulney lock or an hour at 1/2 throttle /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif fosdyke is a further 6 miles ans its 38NM from fosdyke to wells

BJ, (I just know you had some ulterior motive when you chose that name /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif )
Sounds good to me, if I can make the launch date and trip, count me in.
Suggest we put in at Fosdyke to make final checks and sort out the rigging, after that there's not many places to stop and get out if something goes wrong.

P.S. If we get stuck under any bridges, it will be your fault for not measuring up properly, so you can get the beers in at The Poacher /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The final answer to D3B's question is "By land"
Following slow and steady run along the A14 this afternoon we are now on board afloat in Suffolk Yacht Harbour ready to set off for Brightlingsea in the morning.

I am feeling very relived to have her down here again.
