Mine will do that sort of speed, but nothing like that amount of water (smaller boat, but same principle applies), and if the spray occurs, it's behind me unless I submarine through a wave.
Just set off a chain of thoughts about club trips I used to go on, and I could bomb along quite happily, then would have to stop and wait for some slower boats to catch up, and you'd see a couple in a cockpit with wet towels draped over their shoulders, having a dreadful time. So some boats definitely drier than others
I've seen a Nelson pounding into waves just off Ryde (IoW) in conditions where I was riding over the waves just an hour previous, and I was surfing the other way on the return journey. How he could see where he was going was beyond me! He looked like a permanent submarine /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Oh com'on peeps, who's is going to have a go?, jeez the commercialism police are going beserk /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I am going to the sin bin /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

And while I'm at it, I feel you have let us all down!!
The Dusseldorf report wasn't up to your usual standard! There weren't enough pics of sexy sportscruisers!!!
... and it's much more comfortable cruising on the level straight through everything rather than going up and down over waves! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Ah ha, someone to pick a fight with /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Actually great boats, looked at this a while ago, nice boat, perfect for scaring the bejesus out of passangers in a bit of a blow /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I looked at that Dale Nelson too...several times. Accommodation seemed a bit tight unless you're happy to fiddle about with converting downstairs dinette to a bed. But a lovely looking boat.
