We are sneaking over to the Medway this weekend, through the Havengore, to check out Roach Sailing Associations finest efforts on the new withies.

Do look out for the white blob flying a huge Jeanneau flag, East Coast Pilot Burgee and a YBW Forum burgee.

Dang, tide didnt make predicted height at Havengore, only 0.75 over the bar, so we went through Potton Bridge and in the Violet. Bit shallow there,,,,,,,,,so going to have a snore in Paglesham Reach this eve.
Had a FB Steak and Mushroom with a nice drop of Rioja for dinner.

Will have to go the long way round in the morning. Dang.

Double Dang, wind over tide going to Mudway was not an attractive position to Mrs FC, so we are now at anchor outside Bridgemarsh waiting for anothe r 0.3m to get in.

Still the Grimbergen Blonde is going down a treat.

Never mind.

As Pye End mentions, Sunday looks brilliant.

I expect many sail deprived East Coaster's will be out there.

Just hope we can remember the colregs with all the traffic about.

It's been so long.

Well, we got back into Bridgemarsh, and hotfooted it in the car to Medway YC.
Excellent evening courtesy of Clarke & Carter, and the meal in Medway YC was first rate.

Also thanks to smth448 and Mrs smth448 for being brilliant and putting us up for the night. Not to mention whacking great glass of Calvados as a night cap.

Today is in the garden, so no boating, as we have the wedding next weekend, and a major BBQ going on.

Pity, as it has been a first rate day for taking out the Walker Bay 8 sail kit.
