Sliding Sunroof Seals

I have a sliding sunroof type panel in my boat, it is a source of leaks into the boat. It runs on aliminuim sliders which have a nylon type brush seal fitted into the sliders. Is their any company that stocks these type of seals.

Are similar set-ups used in old cars?
