Happened to me and the missus back in the paranoiac days of the Yugoslavian Federation. Anchored in a remote bay on the island of Mljet asleep in the forecabin we were awakened at midnight by boots on board and a Yugoslavian army officer already in the cabin with drawn pistol and some brutal-looking soldiers piling on board from a longboat. In the ensuing confrontation it was claimed we were in a forbidden military area - there were so many in those days that a book listing them was issued when declaring into the country. I proffered the book and asked the officer to show me the entry for this bay - I had already assured myself it was not there. He declined to do so and said in a loud voice, "Go". I went. But it was not easy to feel our way out of the bay and find another anchorage as it was a pitch-dark night, no visible navigation lights and before the days of GPS.The odds against being crept up on while asleep in the fore cabin are minimal so you can relax.
