Slack safety lines.

Hi All, I had my pulpit repaired after a bump. I now have loose safety lines which have suaged fittings. Is there a fitting that can be used to replace them?

If the ends are swaged with rings, the rings often unscrew to allow the lines to be removed through stanchions. Cut lines and fit new terminals.

Once the turnbuckles are maxed out, you have a few options, including cutting the wire off and fitting a new swaged or swageless fitting, but the simplest and cheapest is removing the turnbuckle, putting a threaded eye nut on (secured with Loctite) and then lashing that back onto the push/pulpit with some suitable bits of string.

Another option would be change the lines to dyneema
