Hi, I have just bought an old skipper 14 with little rigging still intact. it has what I think is called a gaff set up - a mast connects to the main mast. Does anyone have any pictures from the handbook they could let me have or ideas where I might get hold of a handbook to see how to rig this dinghy, especially the main sheet which looks like it may be quite complicated without having seen a version already rigged. You are very welcome. As you can see from the very first image on my website, rigging the mainsheet was actually extremely simple. The reason your Skipper has "little rigging still intact" is because it had almost none to begin with ;)

I should add that ours was bought new, and didn't have the shrouds or forestay that are shown in the booklet. I suppose they were found to be unnecessary, and indeed in my use I never noticed the need for either (and AFAIK I'm the only person ever to have rolled a Skipper 14 :D )

Oh no you're not. I have had that privilege too. On Bala lake about twelve years ago
