Stag V. Donkey

Haydn - what a splendid offer, and I'm sure it is weighted in my favour. However I must refuse as I need to clear garage space as SWMBO's "gym" (HaHa) is being turfed out of one of the bedrooms and despatched to the garage. My study is being sent to the snug, the old study room is to be come another guest room (how many people does she think we know?) and the other half of the garage is being re-organised by my outlaws 'cos they can't find a thing in there. What are they doing in my garage anyway I have no idea.

So it's pretty quiet weekend for me then.

Re: No need to sell the stag, just store it

If you need a spare garage or two to put the stag, or donkey, in, lemme know. I have a totally empty spare double garage as you know at the unlived-in house, till it gets demolished but that will be september earliest. So if you want to park stag there, fine. Or praps lie to SWMBO and put the Maxum there, and tell her you sold it. Or put the outlaws there and erm lock up.

Store Stag?

JFM - Thanks for the offer to store the Stag, but I fear on a hot summers day you'd borrow it (cranky English car that it is!) and with your driving record I'd be lucky yo get it back. I also think that SWMBO (mine) would pay you to knock the garage down on it. Now if you built the pool to the right size - we could put American Pie in it and really scare the bejabbers out of the neighbours <G>.
