I dont think I have ever used it beyond half power for cutting / polishing GRP, so plenty powerful enough. only problem is that the black plastic handle of the top has fractured in half, and I cant find the proof of purchase. The machine is prob a little heavier than the very expensive professional units, but for once or twice a year polishing its more than adiquate. Ants
