Anybody know how good or bad? Seem cheap but may be fine for light casual use??

Seems to work well, u can get additional sponge heads from toolstation.

I dont think I have ever used it beyond half power for cutting / polishing GRP, so plenty powerful enough.

only problem is that the black plastic handle of the top has fractured in half, and I cant find the proof of purchase.

The machine is prob a little heavier than the very expensive professional units, but for once or twice a year polishing its more than adiquate.

I've had one for a couple of years now with no problems mine is the orange case apparently the hi spec version ?

Hardly any difference in price.

I've got the orange one too, had it for a couple of years, perfectly happy with it so far. Particularly like the soft start.
